2011 Brunch with Santa

On Saturday December 3th, the morning after the Columbia Falls Night of Lights parade, the Rotary Club of Columbia Falls will host our Fourth Annual Brunch with Santa from 9:00am to noon at Glacier Discovery Square (old First Citizens Bank building).

The goal of this event is to raise funds for local Rotary Club of Columbia Falls projects.

Our biggest project to date is the evening teen program at the Boys & Girls Club of Columbia Falls (held at Discovery Square).

We’ve also helped the Lions with funding for Christmas lights, helped the Chamber with funding for the new signs at our city boundaries, help the food bank make ends meet during the busy/expensive Christmas dinner project, installed benches along public walkways, helped the city resurface the tennis courts, delivered dictionaries to all CFalls 3rd graders and more…

Tickets are $10 for anyone 13 years old and up. Kids 12 and younger eat free with a paid adult.

We’ve received an amazing amount of support from businesses and individuals in the Flathead Valley – check out the Silent Auction video update (filmed Dec 1) below where I describe (almost) everything that has been donated to the auction.

If you don’t have patience for the video, an almost complete list appears below the video.

NOTE: Some auction items remain a secret until Saturday! You’ll just have to be there!

Detailed auction item info for this year’s Rotary Brunch with Santa

This event will feature plenty of food, fun and entertainment, including….

  • Breakfast, brunch and lunch foods from Columbia Falls restaurants and caterers
  • A HUGE silent auction featuring items donated by Flathead Valley businesses
  • Visit with Santa!
  • A free photo with Santa for the kids
  • Music by jazz ensembles from Columbia Falls High School
  • David and Penni will perform a preview of their annual Christmas concert

The Boys and Girls Club plays a vital role in helping our community, in both good times and challenging times, and I ask that you help us support the kids of Columbia Falls. Even if your contribution is limited to having brunch with us, it won’t be too small.

If you have questions, would like to participate in our event, or would like more information, please talk to your favorite Rotarian, contact Mick Holm at 756-9055, Ron at 249-1445 or email Mark at mriffey@columbiafallsrotary.com.

Tickets are available at the door.

Thank you!

PS: If you own a business, check out this short 2 minute video to learn how you can support our Brunch with Santa event and get a unique opportunity to show the community your best kept secret (that you don’t really want to keep) – the work that you do that really shines!

Please thank our 2011 SILVER SPONSOR – North Valley Hospital
